Mr. Dwight Jackson of Weiner, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the age of 67. He was born June 6, 1951, the son of Homer and Freida (Dawson) Jackson.
Mr. Jackson was a graduate of Southland High School, and received a certification in Diesel Mechanics from Vo-Tech. He retired from Bill Davis Trucking in 2001, after working as a truck driver over 20 years. Mr. Jackson was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially duck hunting. He spent a lot of time working on boats and cars, and was always helping other people.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, James Jackson and Ronnie Jackson.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Holly (Adams) Jackson of the home; three sons, Kristopher Jackson and fiancé, Alexis Rorex, of Campbell Station, Kevin Jackson and wife, Jeanetta of Paragould, and Jeff Jackson of Paragould; two sisters, Carolyn Jackson of Cardwell, Missouri, and Rita Kasey and husband, Larry, of Sun City, Arizona; three grandchildren, Sadie Jackson, Trevor Pate, and Tyler Teague, all of Paragould; a special nephew, William Adams and wife, Christina, of Woodlawn, Tennessee; a special niece, Jennifer Bradley and husband, Robby, of Tuckerman; and a host of family and friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Monday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Graveside services will follow at11:00 a.m. at Ballew’s Chapel Cemetery.
