Obituary for Paulette Rutledge

Paulette  Rutledge
Mrs. Paulette (Green) Rutledge of Newark, Arkansas departed this life on Friday, July 6, 2018, at the age of 70. She was born June 25, 1948, in Batesville, Arkansas the daughter of Alvin L. and Ruth L. (Richardson) Green.
Mrs. Rutledge was a member of the Cord Baptist Church and she worked at White Rogers Company for 10 years, she also worked as scanner coordinator and cashier for Town and Country. Mrs. Rutledge was also office manager for the Newark Water Department. She was a member of the PTA at Newark Schools and Home Demonstration Club of Newark. Her greatest enjoyment was time spent with her grandchildren, cooking for her family, traveling and the laughter and fun of family time. She will be remembered for being a loyal kangaroo.
Mrs. Rutledge was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Virgil Max Green.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 53 years, Kendall Rutledge, of the home; one son, Jeff Rutledge, of North Carolina; two brothers, James Green, of Springdale, and Charles Green, of Oil Trough; two sisters, Gwen Allen, of Oil Trough and Barbara Ross, of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Michael Rutledge, Kellie Hughes, Jacob Rutledge and Jordin Movis; seven great-grandchildren, Michael Rutledge, Lillie Rutledge, Eli Rutledge, Emmie Rutledge, Bradley Hughes, Carson Hughes and Katelynn Rutledge; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Newark First Baptist Church. Friends may visit at the church Monday, 12:30 p.m. to service time. Interment will be in Blue Springs Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jack Moss, Billy Davis, Chris Davis, Al Green, Michael Green and James Lindsey. Honorary pallbearers are her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
