Obituary for Pearlie Easter (McIntosh)

Mrs. Pearlie Fay Easter, 80, of Harrisburg departed this life Wednesday at St Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born June 11, 1937 in Black Oak, Arkansas the daughter of John William and Lucille (Genio) McIntosh. Pearlie married Jake Easter on September 30, 1955 and they enjoyed fifty-five years before his passing in 2010. She enjoyed camping, doing yard work, and on Saturdays you would find Pearlie and Jake at Easter’s Auction. The auction is where her grandchildren have many fond memories of spending the day playing and eating Pearlie’s delicious hamburgers and fried pies. Pearlie was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one daughter, Susie Flanigan, and one brother, Bobby White. She is survived by one son, Joey and wife Shelia Easter of Harrisburg, one daughter, Pat and husband Wayne King of Harrisburg, five brothers: Richard McIntosh of Tampa, Florida, Sonny McIntosh, and Larry McIntosh both of Harrisburg, Phil McIntosh of Kokomo, Indiana, and Hershel McIntosh of Weatherford, Texas, one sister, Kathy Prestidge of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bro. Jerry Thompson will conduct the service. These men will serve as active pallbearers: Stephen Easter, Kyle Seal, Ricky McIntosh, Doug Lancaster, Allan Brown, and Billy Houchin. Visitation is Saturday from 10:00~Service Time at 11:00 Jackson’s Harrisburg Funeral Home. Interment will be in Harrisburg Memorial Park. Arrangements by Jackson’s Funeral Home
