Obituary for Charlotte Ann Heath

Mrs. Charlotte Ann (Burgess) Heath of Hickory Grove, AR, departed this life on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the age of 86. She was born May 26, 1931, in Jackson County, the daughter of Albert and Esta Mae Burgess.
Mrs. Heath was a graduate of Anderson School. Mrs. Heath had worked for Wal-Mart for fifteen years as a retail department manager before her retirement. She had been a beautician in her younger years. Mrs. Heath had many hobbies including reading, fishing, and dancing. She loved raising cats and dogs; she especially loved her dog, Bandit. She loved cooking Sunday dinners for her family.
Mrs. Heath was preceded by her husband, Franklin Delano “Frog” Heath; one son, Gregory Lynn Heath; two daughters, Jean Ann Gipson and Terry Sue Rutledge; two brothers, Sonny Burgess and C. C. Burgess; two sisters, Lucille Whittenburg and Gloria Jean Burgess.
She is survived by one son, Franklin Burgess Heath, and wife, Jeannie of Charlotte; one step-son, Lanny Glenn Heath of Oil Trough; one son-in-law, Kenny Gipson of Cord; eight grandchildren, Michelle Simmons of Cord, Heath Combs of Cord, Shane Heath of Charlotte, Dustin Heath of Texarkana, Chris Rutledge of Newport, Elizabeth Rutledge Reed, of Newport, Misty Gail Heath and Eric Heath; great- grandchildren, Whitney, Brice, Anna Grace, Cadence, Jaxx, Hunter, Hayden, Khloe, Mackinzie and Hayden; a few great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Cheshier Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Jackson’s Funeral Home Friday 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Dustin Heath, Heath Combs, Shane Heath, and Chris Rutledge. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Cheshier, Travis Cheshier, Buddy Combs, and Buddy Rutledge.
