Mrs. Geneva Lingo Potts of Swifton, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, August 28, 2017, at the age of 79. She was born July 6, 1938 in Swifton, the daughter of William Bernard and Josephine (Weaver) Smith.
Mrs. Potts was a homemaker and a beautician, and a member of the Swifton Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Edward Lingo; her second husband, Floyd “Dub” Potts; one son, Eddie Duane Lingo; two brothers, Eugene and Lavern Smith; one sister, Evelyn Alls; and her parents.
Mrs. Potts is survived by one daughter, Cindy Mitts Henderson and husband, Johnny, of Swifton; one brother, Bernard Smith; two grandchildren, Chandra Templeton and husband, Nick, and Payton Mitts and wife, Amanda; three great-grandchildren, Caden Templeton, Chase Templeton, and Josie Joy Mitts; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Friends may visit at the Swifton Assembly of God Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Stranger’s Home Cemetery.
