Obituary for James Robinett

James Robinett

Mr. James David Robinett of Newark, Arkansas, departed this life on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at the age of 20. He was born August 13, 1996 in Jonesboro, the son of David Joe and Pamela Jane (McGonigal) Robinett.
James David enjoyed watching football and baseball on television, and riding the 4-wheeler. He had a kind heart and a loving spirit. James David enjoyed eating, especially chicken strips, donuts, and Dr. Pepper! He loved his family and his pets, Princess and Theodore. Over the course of his life, he knew several people, in addition to his family, who helped him along the way, including Mr. Ralph, Ms. Kim, and Ms. Lois.
James David was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Franklin and Johnnie Mae Robinett; and an uncle, Herman Robinett.
He is survived by his parents, David Joe and Pamela (McGonigal) Robinett of Newark; one sister, Taylor Joe Robinett of Newark; his maternal grandparents, Molly and Darrell McGonigal of Tuckerman; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends whose lives he touched.
Friends may visit at the Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home, Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Newark Southern Baptist Church, with interment following in Blue Springs Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Cameron J. Jones, Tyler Tubbs, Aaron Rogers, Chase Fraser, Gunnar Balch, and Nicholas Goff. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Myers, Danny Foster, and Tim Norman.
