Obituary for Lloyd Wright Sr.

Lloyd Wright Sr.
Mr. Lloyd Wright, Sr., of Amagon, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at the age of 78. He was born December 22, 1938 in Newport, the son of Lloyd Burnette and Maggie Tilley (Davis) Wright.
Mr. Wright worked many years as a farmhand, and was of the Church of Christ faith. He loved to cook hunt, work on lawn mowers, and spend time with his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Peggy Sue Henderson, Betty Simons, and Carol Clark.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dora (White) Wright of the home; four sons, Rickey Wright, Lloyd Wayne Wright, Chuck Wright, and Dalton Wright, all of Amagon; one daughter, Virginia Wright Jones of Amagon; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday, 12:30-1:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery at Johnstown at 2:00 p.m.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are L.W. Wright, Randall Willard, Roger Jones, Jr., Hunter Misehammer, Lonnie Woods, and Tony Lewis. Alfred Osier is honorary pallbearer.
